Some of you may be experiencing a network outage or drop outs with your copnnection. This is due to the current weather affecting one of our main links. We are currently working on the link to stabilise it.

Apologies for any inconveinvence this may cause.

The East Goscote mast main link is still down, engineers have replaced the Main mast end and are working on the East Goscote  side. Estmated live time is 10-11am. 

Service like VoIP phone calls maybe affected

The East Goscote main link is down, engineers attended site and installed a new used point to point link, but it seems to have failed again. We suspect the units are sceptable to rain flooding and lightening. Engineers will be onsite to install a new Gigabit link from 6:30 am to 9am, This may effect VoIP calls and other services,

We are expecting abnormal weather conditions including flash floods which will affect most parts of the network today.  Our back up links are activated but we expect sporadic outages which may affect user using VoIP phone calls.

Outage

There will be an outage from 8am to am max of 8:30 am today at troon due to remove of equipment. We try to ensure the process takes the minimal amount of time

We have just had an update in regards to the network outage affecting Bistall and Syston Customers. This is due to Western Power doing work on the power lines at Birstall industrial estate where our mast is located and is unfortunately out of our hands.

 They have given us a time of 2pm for the power to be back up and running.

The network outage that occured yesterday afternoon at Troon Industrial Estate was due to a blown SFP and switch swap out due to the severe weather. This is has been resolved and apologies for a late update in regards to this situation.

There is currently a network outage affecting all Troon Industrial estate due to the weather conditions, We have an engineer on the way to the site to get it back up and running. We believe the outage has been caused due to a blown SFP in the system. We hope to have this resolved in the next hour.

Core Reboot

A core router reboot was actioned and service should reseume in 2-3 minutes

There was an outage a Troon Industrial Site  for around 45 minutes due to burned out fibre optics. The fibre has now been replaced and service has resumed.  Please can all customers refrain from direct calling engineers as this affects their safety when working at heights or driving to site. SERVICE TERMINATION TO ALL ST GEORGES FLATS 

As part of the fibre upgrade from the managment your services to your flat your internet from Gigabair is now being restricted to 180 minutes per day.  You are required to find a new provider, Hyperoptic has installed service to your location and the link is below. Within the next 7 days this service will be reduced to 120 minutes and then terminated therafter.

Previous repairs to the cable have not resolved he problem and the main radio link has gone faulty this morning, engineers will be replacing the unit tthis morning, we expect service to resume around 9 to 9:30

A small power outage in Syston from Western Power occured at 07.40 this morning, this lasted around 5 minutes.

Our Radio at Interfuse has gone  offline causing a network outage for East Goscote, Rearsby and Gaddesby. We curretnly have an engineer on site to get the radio powered back up as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconviemce this has caused.

We will be upgrading the main controller at the Ridge Farm mast today between 12:30-1:30 Pm , the outage should only be around 10 minutes if the depoyment goes to plan but may last 1 hour if we experience issues.  This will be a complete outage on the network

We have an intermittent radio at our Syston Mast which is the main feed to the East Goscote mast. Unfortunately, due to health and safety we are unable to swap this out until Saturday 22nd of March. The link currently goes off at around 4am most mornings, we have implemented a restart over mobile sim solution to support this and expect users not to be affected. 

As part of a major upgrade, we will be upgrading the main mast controller and migrating all users over to this controller. This will support multiple connection failovers. We will then over the coming 2 weeks upgrading the links at the mast and St Georges Park mast. We will try to keep disruption to a minimum but do envisage multiple outages during this time.

We diagnosied a serious radio problem with the main link to the East Gostcote Mast, this will effect a small number of users with no Internet connection until monday morning at 7am. 

Planned upgrades at the mast will be conducted during next week which will implement service back up.

We currently have an engineer out on sight to get this back up and running as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

Power Outages

We have exprienced a series of Power Outages from Western Power this morning effecting Birstal, East Goscote and Ridge Farm Clients

We have had a number of outages at the Birstall Mast this evening to resolve a number of radio and routing issues. Service has resumed at 19:01
