St Georges Tower an iconic building in Leicester is having one of the largest pieces of street werks in with world being painted on it. As result the maintenance  crane is being used which on this occassion will travel in front of customer radios, this will result in poor service or complete outages. We are working with artist and building owner to reduce the amount of interuptions and have moved many customer dishes to reduce the impact. We have inspected the site and the main mast has no power to it. This is on a seperate underground feed and will require further inspection scheduled for 8am, tomorrow. If the problem is localised to the main circuit board we expect service to resume quickly on Monday morning. Outage Update

We are pleased to inform you that the Ridge Farm Mast is now live. We implemented a temporary core node and any users that do not have Internet are requested to power there equipment down and up again.

During the unprecedented weather, Storm Franklin is expected to present severe service challenges today. Wind gusts are expected to hit around 30-50mph which renders any at heights work. Engineers have been working around the clock over the weekend to establish links where safely possible. Please note we expect significant drops in speed and quality that may affect customers service including VoIP calls. 

Please refrain from contacting engineers directly and please submit tickets for outages where physical damage can be seen only.  Please note we will not be able to restore any connections that require working at height until the wind gusts are less than 20-25mph

STORM EUNICE

We are expecting sevre weather over the next 72hours which will affect service and can potentially cuase damage. On the 28th January 2022 our data centre will be moving which means some customer will be given new IP addresses. We will contact those customers affected by this change e and we will provide you with a new IP address 7 days before the swap over. If you are given a new IP address and currently have domains registed with your existing IP those will need to be re-registed with your new IP address.  The service on your existing IP will go down at some point on the 28th January and unfortunately we cannot give a time as to when that will be.

Work on the mast at Tilton has started today to stablise the mast with steel guy ropes, as result the main radio will need further maintenance to align the radio to gain the best service.

Our Tilton mast is and has been experiencing major outages during the night, the back up links are currently affected by severe weather

and interference from distant tree. We are investigating the options to replace the back up radios but due to weather conditions it maybe that service will only resume once the conditions subside.

Weather conditions are affecting a number of main transit links, these include titlon and Ridge farm. We will evaluate these links further future enhancements but unfortunately customer may experience continous outages during these abnormal weather conditions.

TROON OUTAGE

The outage at Troon has been resolved and was caused by a severed fibre cable to the mast. New gigabit radio links were installed to resolve the issue. We appreictae all customers contacting the office and would like to remind clients that tried to call engineers direct , that it is not helpful during an outage. We have an ticket system whcih can be accessed on a mobile and also updates are put on the website, contacting engineers direct just slow sthe process down.

If any companies broadband is still having issue, we would recommned restarting servers, phone systems and swicthes.

We apologise for the outage but the damage was caused by a third party.
